Calling for bids for the auction of a scrap hand tractor that has been removed from use.

I hereby invite sealed bids for the auction of the deregistered tractor 78 – 0669 (SIFANG) of the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha.

• Tender applications will be issued from 07.24 to 10.00 a.m. on government working days only at the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Head Office, Elpitiya Pahalala Road.
• The non-refundable tender form fee is Rs. 1100.
• Each applicant should submit only one application form.
  
• Sealed bids can be submitted to the Chairman, Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha, Urban Council Road, Elpitiya, by dropping them in the tender box kept in the office before 11.00 a.m. on 06.08.2025 or by registered post.

• The opening of bids will be held on 06.08.2025 at 11.30 a.m. You or a representative authorized by you may attend the opening of tenders.

Vehicle inspection 
can be carried out at the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha main office premises from 24.07.2025 to 05.08.2025 on weekdays from 09.00 am to 03.00 pm and from 10.30 am to 06.08.2025.

After the tenders are opened and accepted, the tenderer will be informed of the same by registered mail/telephone or, if present, at the same time.

The accepted tenderer must pay the prescribed amount and remove the purchased scrap from the council premises before 4.15 pm on that day.

• The final decision on accepting or rejecting the tender rests with the Tender Board.

The item must be accepted in its original condition and all costs for removal must be borne by you after purchase.
